VA Conference 2005

Virtual assistants from across the globe to converge on the Mississippi riverfront for an action-packed weekend, October 14-15, 2005.

VA Conference 2005 hosts: Janet Jordan of Virtual Assistance U; Fred Gandee of IAVOA; and, Kelly Poelker of Another 8 Hours present Show Me Growth—Show Me Excellence—Show Me the Way! at the Fifth Annual Virtual Assistant Conference. This year’s agenda has been expanded to Friday and Saturday to allow ample time for discussions and questions. The team of co-hosts have lined up successful virtual assistants to facilitate a day-long workshop filled with practical knowledge and helpful topics to start or grow your virtual assistant business. “At VA Conference we believe in learning from each other,” says co-host Poelker. “We accomplish that by having presenters who walk the talk as a virtual assistant each and everyday.”  Take a look at what’s in store for you…

Show Me Growth

Dealing with prospective clients can be challenging at best. In this session, led by Nora Rubinoff, we will show you how to overcome those challenges and achieve growth to help build the confidence you need to secure every client—or know when to walk away.

Show Me Excellence

Proper balance of work and home is crucial to every aspect of your business—and your personal life. In this session, led by Pamela Braue, we’ll show you how to achieve excellence through proper planning so you’re not left feeling overwhelmed with being a successful virtual assistant—and still have a life of your own.

Show Me the Way

How you market your business to others is key to securing and cross-selling your services. Panelists Kelly Poelker (www.Another8Hours.com), Janet Jordan (www.VirtualAssistanceU.com), Nora Rubinoff (www.AtYourServiceCincy.com), and Pamela Braue (www.PSWeAssist.com) will show you the way to successfully market your business and position yourself for future growth—without breaking the bank.

Show Me the Way

Knowing how to identify other sources of revenue in your business can help your cash flow and add to the bottom line. In this session Janet Jordan and Kelly Poelker will show you the way to “streeetch” your business beyond the basics—and put more money in your pocket!

And that’s not all! There will be a Table Topics Luncheon served up with information on different niche markets—web design, effective networking, and being a real estate VA is just a sampling of the information you can devour. Can’t decide? Well pick a second topic for dessert!
